Miller Rock, Colorado

Lesser used area is entirely land locked by private property except where forest road enters between houses. Fun, challenging terrain. Great views from top of Miller Rock. Popular hiking area. Good for unlicensed vehicles except no place to park at start. Drive in 0.1 miles to small spot. Trail is open all year, weather permitting. You can exit through private Glacier View Ranch on 252A, but you must call ahead a few days to arrange to have them unlock gate.

Difficult. Steep, rocky climb to enter. Tight trees, but no difficult spots on 523. Choice of moderate or difficult route to Miller Rock. South of Point #3 is steep and very narrow with intimidating ledge near bottom.
