PLASTIC COIL SPIRAL BINDING
FunTreks offers a service that converts squareback books to plastic coil spiral binding. It’s a hand-done process we do ourselves after the books are printed. We basically cut off the glued spine and punch holes along the edge, then turn a quality plastic coil through the holes. In a sense, each book is made to order. We charge $5.00 per book for this service.

The coil binding allows the book to lay perfectly flat and even fold all the way back. It’s been a big hit with our customers on our Website. To get this option, simply select “Include Spiral Binding” from the pull-down menu when you order.

For the most part, new books bound this way are available exclusively on our Website, but we do have a few retailers who buy from us and resell. If you already have a book and want it spiral bound, many office supply stores, like Kinkos and Staples, provide this service.

CONCEALED WIRE SPIRAL BINDING
Because of the popularity of hand-done spiral books, we’ve been searching for a manufactured spiral book that not only functions well, but looks more appealing. We finally found a beautiful concealed spiral format that we introduced with our redesigned Colorado book. This design comes with an extra heavy-duty cover and is very durable. You can even fold the book all the way back, although people are reluctant to do this because it looks so nice. You don’t have to baby this book; the more you use it, the better it gets.

This book comes from the printer with the spiral built in, and the cost is included in the retail price. There is no option to click spiral bound for the books with this feature, because every book is already spiral bound.
